Jacket: Charlotte Russe
I LOVE these split leg pants with pearl button accents! My cousin (pictured in the hat below) told me about a black owned boutique in Denver. While we were hanging before we left for the holidays, we decided to find it. And I’m glad we did!
The owners and staff are dope and they have a dope and unique inventory.
My cousin wore the joggers he bought today as well. They have a vegan leather stripe down the side–in the words of Rachel Zoe, “I DIE!”
I am pretty sure I love baseball jackets…While wearing this one today I realized that I have a few. They are super versatile in that you can wear them year round and with different looks (dresses, shorts, sweats, jeans, etc.). Stay tuned for a post soon with my faves…
Like most of us, I am reflecting on 2018. I haven’t really been able to articulate what I felt until today. Part of my cousin’s (Pastor Antonio M. Matthews on FaceBook) sermon this morning summarizes how I choose to reflect on 2018. He said that we don’t have to get rid of everything in 2018. There were some good things that God used to provide momentum. Momentum that can push us into 2019 on a high note rather than completely starting over.
2018 was definitely my Romans 8:28 year—everything worked together for my good. And that good will continue to manifest in 2019.
